The "plain" folkes appeal

I understand how the plain folks appeal is important to a politician. However, it has never seemed to come to my realization, why people fall for it. Examples can be seen from both sides of the political spectrum.

- Ron if what you say is true I would rather go to hell. The way many Christians represent god makes the devil appear to be kinder. Over half the world is born into non christian society's so at least I would have company.

- I did some research on the subject and the coca cola FAQ on sponsorships only has two questions. One is how to apply for a sponsorship, the second is if they will support Rodeos. Obviously this shows us they have very high requirements for a organization to receive a sponsorship.

- really? really? Fox news fair and balanced? MSNBC and Fox news are polar opposites and equally biased. People who think either are not biased need a tumor removed.
